Chaperones

Chaperoning is the process of having a third person present during an examination or procedure. This is to provide support to the patient during their consultation as well as protecting the doctor/nurse against any allegations of improper behaviour during their consultation.

Here at the practice we are able to offer our patients with a trained chaperone at the patients request.

Please ask at reception or the clinician you are seeing if you would like a chaperone present during your consultation.
