Appointments and Access at St Ann’s Medical Centre

In line with Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group we have adopted Care Navigation and already many of our patients have benefited from direct appointments with physiotherapists as well as improved engagement with our pharmacy colleagues for simple medications.

We intend to widen this approach by increasing the active signposting within our reception team and we look forward to your support whilst we do this. Our reception staff members will be asking for information regarding your attendance at the practice and we would like to assure you that this is purely to aid direction of your appointment. All staff members within the practice are covered by the NHS guidelines on confidentiality in the same way as our Doctors.

We hope you see this improvement in our appointments system and continue to support our staff in ensuring your attendances are with the right clinician.

As usual you can help with our appointment demand by cancelling any appointments no longer required.
