There are many types of talking therapies available and some are better for certain problems, conditions and people than others. If you are experiencing any of the conditions mentioned and live in Rotherham, you can be referred to the RDaSH talking therapy services by your GP. Talking therapy is available to individuals and couples who live in Rotherham, are over 18, have a local GP and are not already being treated.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), is an NHS primary care service in England which offers a free and confidential evidence based psychological therapy service for people who are 18 year of age and over and who are feeling stressed, anxious, low in mood or depressed. The service also runs self help workshops such as Stress Control, Long Term Conditions management, Sleep management and others.
